Can you ask privately on private chat please?

If you were really not happy in a relationship but have 2 babies under 2 would you stay together for them or leave?

I am 100% intent on leaving but I can’t stop picturing the scenarios of when we’re not together and I have to put up with his family being awkward with me when having the kids. I haven’t been happy for well over a year and it’s getting to the point where I want out.

We haven’t slept together in over a year I hate him touching me, we don’t do anything together every family outing just seems forced. He works away and I really think we’ve only lasted so long (5 years) because he’s not always home every night. When he is home longer than a weekend we argue like cat and dog.

He’s so moody and won’t even speak to me about our relationship he just tries to ignore it and pretend we’re fine when we both know we’re not. Whenever I bring it up he literally just says “whatever” and “ok” He does certain things to ruin my happiness like arguing on nights out in front of our friends or making snide remarks whenever we’re
In company always trying to put me down. We can’t drink together because it makes things worse to the point when one of us would probably physically lash out if we didn’t stop ourselves.

We have a mortgage and I’m still on maternity leave. What would you do?
