Could I get a ppp? In February I was charged with a minor driving offence and received a £100 fine and 3 points. To my knowledge this all sorted after I paid the fine. Well recently I received court summons. I called the police to ask about it and it was because I didn’t send my licence off to have the points put on. I genuinely didn’t realise I had to do this as the letter wasn’t very straightforward and I didn’t understand. I’m going out of my mind as I’ve googled it and convinced myself that they will take my licence away. This is my first offence and I genuinely thought I had sorted it out. I have a personality disorder so it sometimes affects my understanding, I’m also registered as disabled and rely on my car to get me to hospital appointments. Please no bashing, I honestly didn’t realise and thought it was all sorted as I paid the fine on time, it’s a genuine misunderstanding. Do you think they will take my licence? Tia x
