Could I get a private post please. How would people handle Christmas. I’ve been with my partner for 12 years we have one child together. His kids are grown up and have kids of their own. I do alot for them all running around and favours. At Christmas time we give them money which they always say their dad…. Not us both… They never buy me or our child anything at Christmas and this year we’re all put for Xmas dinner and doing gifts at the table personally I feel very awkward in this situation as I know full well we won’t receive anything which is fine but a box a chocolates or a selection box isn’t breaking the bank. We always get their partners a gift each. My partner always says they forget about me and our child.
