Could I have a post please.
Has anyones child had recurrent chest infections before the age of 2?
My son has had 5 this year. I suspect he has asthma. But doctors won’t prescribe anything other than antibiotics for him. Surely a course of antibiotics every month is not good in the long run. And why won’t they take me seriously with my concerns.
He was prescribed another lot of antibiotics this morning because he sounds rattley yet he didn’t even have a temperature.
Any advice welcomed. Tia. X

  • My son is 1 on thursday and since december of last year he’s had bronchitis 3 times. Each time we’ve just been given am inhaler which hasnt helped at all. I’m praying he doesn’t get it again because they just arent listening to me. He’s always got a rattley chest and a horrid cough.

  • My daughter is 19months and has had a rattly chest. And constant coughing from a very young age. After lots of doctors visits we are being referred for more tests. Persistence is key I think xx
