Could I have a post please, is anyone else on the depo injection? I’ve just had my second one today first one I had at my 6 week check with the doctor & today with the nurse, she asked me what side I got it in last time & I said right arm, she couldn’t believe the doctor gave me it in my arm has anyone else ever been giving it there?

I usually have it in my bottom but was offered it in the arm once. Never again. Made my arm really sore. Definitely prefer it in the bum….and I don’t say that often lol 😂😂😂
I always get it in my arm. Doctor prefers to give in the biggest muscle which is the bum. But it’s up to u where u want to get it xx
I have been on it for 6 years total. Had every one in the top of my bum.
The nurse the last time offered it in my arm bit I refused as it has to go quite deep prefer my bum x
I think as long as it goes into a muscle it should be OK?
Yeah I have a few time. This month was my bum. Same doctors different nurse must just be there preference

It depends on your bmi. If your BMI is classed as high they have to give it you in your arm xx
