HONEST OPINIONS PLEASE
Can everyone just comment what they think is the best to do as a single mum please …
If it makes any difference my son is 3 in December
I’ve recently started a new job where I earn £680 pound for 4 days and 4 nights in a row doing my dream job , this averages out as about 20 hours per week (hours wise as it’s 15 hour shifts over the days then £30 per night for sleeping in ) over the month for working 4 days a month (still entitled to working tax , son still entitled to childcare ) and the best thing in my eyes is I work 4 days then off the rest of the month …
My mum has majorly guilt tripped me today saying I’m selfish and it’s not fair on my son to not see me for 4 days and 4 nights a month (won’t see me from Wednesday morning till Sunday morning ) and I should get normal part time job with normal shifts 9-5 so my son sees me every night then ( he goes to his dads every Friday and Friday and Saturday once every 3 weeks and nursery 7.30-18.00 twice a week )

I love my job
All my qualifications I’ve worked for are for this job
I get like 28 days off a month where I can do things with my son
And in the long run believe this will be better when he’s 7/8 and it’s school holidays I will only have to worry about childcare for 4 days a month.

HONEST OPINIONS PLEASE
Am I being selfish ?? Should I leave and get a 9-5 or job in a shop or something?
