Could I have a PPP
I have currently split with my partener due to DV which happened a couple weeks ago but was worried to go to police due to social services as it would be 3rd incident, I have joined a DV women’s group and they had advised me that I should report everything however big or small & they would help if SS did get involved so I done my report to police today, before I done this I went to SS on my own accord for help & advice & they never wanted to entertain me in any way just shrugged me off.
My concern is I have now been to police,SS will be informed & my violent ex is trying to go for half custody who is currently on tag. Police will question him but it’s his word against mine.
Do family courts look into DV,? Background checks? Criminal records etc?
