Could I have a private post please. I have recently come of the depo injection as it wasn’t right for me I was having constant mood swings, always feeling down. Anxiety and no sex drive what so ever which was putting a huge strain on my relationship but since stopping it I had a day where I had terrible stomach cramps to the point I was nearly crying they hurt that much along with diarrhoea but no sickness. Also I have been bleeding slightly so I don’t know wether this is my period returning but it’s only been 5 weeks since I should have got my injection but then again today I had a few stomach cramps and diarrhoea I feel like am going mad I know this is of the injection. It’s messed my body up has anyone ever had the episodes of diarrhoea after stopping the injection? thanks

Yip me!! I had constant bleeding and all the other things you describe apart from the diarrhoea, I had breast pain too! It’s taken nearly a yr but my periods are now back to normal. I would never go on it again!! I feel your pain mrs xxx
Oh dont,, i had exactly the same, was almost suicidal after having the depo,, was horrendous, i was recently married and had no sex drive at all, the pains,, the irregular bleeding, 2yrs later i still havent had a period, not suicidal, and a very low sex drive, i believe the depo lasts far longer than they say, as two years later,,
The cramps and sickness?? That was bloody worrying, thought something was really wrong, but its a side effect from the depo,, the doctors said all my symptoms cant be down to the depo as they werent written as a possible side effect, but i knew it was,, i feel your pain x
