Could I please have a pp š
Question for self-employed mummies/daddies!
I’m a single parent to a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old, I want to become self employed working from home but I’m unsure of how everything works. I currently get income support, housing benefit, child tax credits and child benefit. I know my income support will be stopped but what happens with the money that I get for the children? Will the child tax credits be the same until the next tax year? And what will happen with my housing benefit? Because I’ll never know how much I’ll earn and so scared that if I try to make a better life for me and my children by working I’ll end up losing my home š
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated xx
