Could you please post this quierie.
I wondered how all you mums and dads do the night time feeds. My husband is back to work after our baby being born so i do all the night feeds. I Often stay up until last feed at 12/1am then my baby bottle feeds every 4hrs. The only problem is im exhaused getting only a few hrs sleep. Aprox 5hrs sleep a night once my baby is settled (i know this is the joys of having a baby) but i wondered if its bad to ask my husband to do the occasional night feeds even though hes up for work. Id like to know what you mums do. Thanks x

Iv got 4 kids partner has never done a night feed as I breastfeed and I am currently breastfeeding our baby in the night then getting up with the others and doin everything else. I think because he works he needs a full night sleep. Some days I can’t keep my eyes open butt u just have to get on with it xx
No it’s not bad to ask 😂 shouldn’t even have to think ‘is it okay to ask my husband to feed the baby at night time’ the person who also helped make the child 😂 I get it, he works, but the occasional feed wont hurt, he won’t work every day all day, so I personally don’t see the problem.
To be honest, if you were breastfeeding then you’d be doing them all anyway!
I’ve done every night feed for almost 10 months as my baby’s breastfed.
I would advise to not stay up until 12/1 if your baby’s asleep earlier than that 🙂
I do all the night work sun-thurs as my partner works full time, he does it Friday & Saturday so I get a break, although our little girl is 11 months now so dosent wake, but we’ll be keeping this routine when our second is born in 4 weeks x
