Does anyone have any knowledge of the rights for working Mums please? I have a 15month old and a 3 year old and started working at a school at beginning of September, I got pulled into the office today and told that the business manger who is also HR doesn’t want me to have any more time off in regards to the children and if I did he would go down formal disciplinary routes! I have taken one day off at the beginning of Oct because my 3 year old was vomiting and I requested 2 hours off to look round a couple of primary schools in preparation for my daughter starting school in September (my line manager approved it for him to then say after I had been that he wouldn’t have authorised it!). I am on my probationary period for 6 months 😪 so do I still have rights as a working mum or not? Help 🙏🏻
