Happy new year lovely mummies! After advice – me and my three children’s father decided to separate almost a year ago. We are married and decided to stay living together till we both came to terms with it (he cheated and massively regrets it and I couldn’t get past that) as we are still friendly and it’s very amicable at the moment. Also financially neither of us can afford to go it alone. Trouble is I’ve been seeing someone new for a few months now (who my children love thank goodness!) and so I’m thinking we have to start going down the divorce route. Can anyone advise on the cheapest way to do it bearing in mind we are planning on just splitting everything 50/50 and sorting childcare/ child maintenance ourselves as neither of us want to ‘win’ anything (money wise) and we both agree we do what feels right for our children…. thanks for any tips xxx
