Hello abit of a rant and looking for other people in the same situation.
My daughter is almost 2 and a half and doesn’t speak at all. She can say no, but repeatedly like nonononono and also understands tah She doesn’t seem to understand anything else I say either. She had her ears tested and they are fine she passed with flying colours. She doesn’t play with other children or interact with anybody, if I try to play with her she starts to hit nip bite and throw all with a smile on her face like she’s waiting to see my reaction?. I honestly feel like she doesn’t like me lol. She will come for a cuddle and fall asleep on me so she is quite loving.
She’s also never used gestures she never points to anything or look at anything I point too. She’s very limited with her concentration aswell. Now I understand she’s two she has her own personality and she could possibly just be behind with everything but I can’t help but think there is more too it. We have been referred to speech and language and a paediatric doctor also portage. I’m just wondering has anybody had a child like this and they change? Or have they been diagnosed with anything?
