Hello, can I get a Pp please?

I’m just looking for some advice, my little girl (4 years) has been really unwell since Tuesday. Non stop coughing (she suffers from asthma) sickness and diarrhoea. She had a hosp app on Wednesday and the docs at the hosp were very concerned about her cough. She was given 10 puffs of her blue inhaler and sent on her way. She wasn’t improving, cough was keeping her up all night and she was very withdrawn, temp was up and sickness and diarrhoea still haven’t stopped. We took her to the docs who told us to take her off her inhalers and make sure she was drinking (anything she drank she was spewing back up). I was very confused so phoned Nhs24 and took her to be seen. She was given steroid tablets to help with her cough and told to keep her on inhalers. Next day still no improvement and she was just getting worse. I took her to Nhs 24 again and they advised me to use her inhaler every hour instead of 3-4 hours. They gave me a direct number as they were concerned about pneumonia and was advised to keep a close eye on her temp. She was up and down most of the night but managed to get at least some sleep. Last night her cough was still bothering her, up and down a lot and back and forward to the toilet screaming as her little bum was red raw. Sickness again too. Today during the day she has played away fine with her family, first time she has been off the couch Since Wednesday. She has headed to bed but while I put her vicks on her chest I noticed a large raised bruise on her lower back on the right side. Other side on the same place was very red. I asked her what she did and she didn’t know, was no indication of tears or that she had hurt herself today at all. When I touched it I felt a lump underneath and she was complaining of pain. Is this something I should be worried about? Also been told to continue her inhalers but for some reason they seem to be causing her to cough and she is getting very distressed. Does anyone have any advice? I’m out of ideas now and going out my head with worry. Don’t want to rush her back to the docs again if they are just going to tell me the same thing they have been as she is actually managing to sleep at the moment😢

Thank you

  • If your little girl is needing 10 puffs on blue pump she need to been seen at a&e
My son is 2 and I took him to a&e Monday as steroids hadn’t helped and 6puffs of blue wasn’t helping
He had about 50-60 puffs on his blue pump during our 6.5 hour wait in a&e till a bed free and it wasn’t helping at all! So he was admitted and given neb and more steroid and new medication to come home with.
If I was u I would take her to a&e she may need to be on the neb have u checked her oxygen levels? As for the mark she has I don’t know but it would be a&e for me! X
