Hello, can i have a private post please.
Im taking my 4 year daughter to Disney World on March! She got her dads last name (not together and he doesnt see her) but he will let me get a passport for her but he says said ” if i take her out the U.K i will call the police”. Do any off you know where i stand?

Your allowed to take them oitnthe country for 28 days I believe it is before permission is needed xx so tell him to piss off and stop trying to ruin a magical holiday for his child xd
You can take her. As long as you buy a return ticket for before 28 days there’s nothing he can do. Also if the child has his surname, take the full birth certificate, it proves you are her mother x
Why people are so spiteful to their own children is beyond me. This is a magical holiday for her which she will treasure and all hes bothered about is being selfish!! 😒
Does he have a court order? is he on the bc? If theres a court order in place you can take your child out of the uk for 4 weeks and if he’s not on the BC there’s sod all he can do
You don’t need permission. Am currently on holiday and my little girl has her dad’s last name and I didn’t have any problems x
I was told you can take your child out of the country for maximum 28days without his permission as I had a similar post! Xo
I took my 5 on my own 3 of which have a different surname to me no problems xx
As long as you can show you’re coming back within 4 weeks there is nothing he can do. Speaking from personal experience x
