Hello Can I have private post , need advice what I can take medication wise . Am 11 weeks gone , been having this headace for the past three days took paracetamol but it haven’t help one bit. Also I notice my back is aching aswell Like k have. Flu.The midwife said I protien in my wee bit didn’t say how much. Received a letter from the hospital few days ago saying I need to do some more blood test cause they found enzyme. I have posted in other group but didn’t seem to find any luck there. Wondering who had this before and advice will be helpful thank you 😊

Codeine is fine to take whilst pregnant for the headache and back pain. I was prescribed it throughout my pregnancy, it’s always worth checking with your doctor before though. But I know it’s safe for most people throughout pregnancy. X
There are many different enzymes that are looked for in a blood test to diagnose. Without knowing exactly which enzyme was elevated – we wouldn’t have a clue as to what it meant. Also, an enzyme elevation can be an indicator for many different things. Honestly, your best bet is to ring your GP and ask what exactly was elevated and why you need further testing. x
