Hello, could i please have a pp?
I really need some advice, i have a 16 month old and since she started to crawl basically she has this fascination for hairs. If she’d find a hair on the floor she’d pick it up and put it in her mouth and with her fingers she’d slowly pull it out and she’d also run it over her lips. (Sorry hope that makes sense) Never thought much of it until now, I’d always try to keep everything clean and would gently take the hair away from her so not to encourage it. However, now, she’s realised she has hairs on her head, so she literally pulls her own hair really hard so she can put the hairs in her mouth. I tell her no and take the hair away and she throws a massive tantrum and starts yelling or crying and straight away after she pulls her hair again and again. She gets extremely agitated when i take the hair away, she’s a lovely bright baby, very vivacious and cheeky, very stubborn, so im not sure if this is just a phase or if i should mention this to the doctor? Has anyone else had a similar problem?? I have no idea what else to do, tonight i even tried putting a wooly hat on her head so she wouldnt be tempted but she just pulls it off. My husband even said he’s willing to cut her hair really short because of this! But she’s got these beautiful little curls and i would like another way around this, please help!!!
