Hello could you pp please?

So my 5yo daughter has been staying at her nans (on dads side) one day at the weekend ever since she was about 2 to see her dad as that’s where he lived. then the last year she has been staying at her dads new girlfriends with her family and daughter who’s 3 … the last few weeks she has been getting upset saying she doesn’t want to go, and when I ask her why she says it’s because it smells. (I have reasons to believe it probably does smell a little bit) but nevertheless I feel like it’s just an excuse. I don’t know what to do as I don’t want to force her to be somewhere she doesn’t want to be and doesn’t enjoy. But on the other hand her dad wants to see her and he says when she is there she gets to do lots of things and has fun playing with his gfs little girl and seems to enjoy herself. (And I don’t think he’s lying) I just don’t know what to do. Her dad keeps saying “well she needs to get used to it” but it’s been a year I don’t think it is a case of getting used to it as she’s not going to suddenly start enjoying it. Any advice?
