So me and my ex split about 2yrs ago our relationship was awful it was abusive and he had drug issues. We had two little boys together, as far as I new he had given up drugs when I was pregnant with our oldest who is 6 this year anyway social services and harbour became involved and supported me leaving the relationship things are ok now I still suffer badly with my anxiety and other mental health problems that where made worse from the abuse. He isn’t allowed unsupervised contact with our sons this wasn’t my choice. He breached his licence conditions last year and went back to jail was released in March not long after that he moved out of our home town which again didn’t bother me in the slightest as I’ve moved on with my life getting help and support he deserves the same opportunity he regularly phones his dad or nan when our sons are there to speak to our oldest son but he is constantly braking promises and on them days my son comes home and is such a nasty spiteful child he hits me his brother flings things and has actually broken my xbox controller tonight by flinging it at the wall I punish him obviously but Im looking for some advice on the whole situation because I’d honestly hate to stop all forms of contact but that seems like the only option. Can any other mums or dad’s give me a bit of advice he’s not actually seen either of his sons in nearly 2yrs but has phoned or written letters
