Hey, can I have a ppp?
I am looking for some advice from women/mothers that have partners in the forces. My man has just left today to go on tour for 6 months. He’ll be missing our child’s first Christmas and first birthday. I completely understand that it’s part of the job. I mean I did know what he worked as before we got together and I knew if we ever had kids then this would happen. I am really just looking for advice on how people coped? I still don’t think that it has actually sunk in yet that he is going to be gone for half a year. I suffer quite bad depression, anxiety and stress and he’s been my rock. I have no idea how I will cope without him for 6 months although we can message etc, it’s just not the same.
Please does someone have advice. This is his first tour since we have been a couple . The longest he’s been away so far is 6 weeks ❤️
