Hey can I have private post please
I’m 17 and work around 16/24 hours a week over 5 days I’m on over £6 per hour, my mom is constantly is on my back about I don’t do anything around the house, like I will openly admit I don’t do loads but If she asks me to do something I’ll do it but she don’t work herself but is always on my back constantly like I never get a break from hearing how much I do nothing it was my day of work today so I went shopping and seen a friend then she started texting me how she’s sick of doing everything she’s at end of her straw, she keeps going on at me how she never goes out etc I volunteer also so loads of my time is taken up but if she needs something I’ll get it her or if she needs me to go shop I will.
Like I don’t know what I can do, shall I quit my job so I can more around the house.
I’m lost for ideas now it’s getting to a point where I’m literally taking over time just to get away from her

You work part-time and even with your voluntary work I’d imagine it’s not more than 40 hours. Pull your finger out and help more without being asked.
If your working and she’s not then she should get off her Arse yes I agree you should help but I believe u should also be congratulated for having a work ethic at a young age
You could live on your own and pay all the bills do all cooking & cleaning yourself then your mum won’t be on your back .
Just little things would help I’d say. Pick up after yourself. Wash up. Run the hoover around. Put some washing on etc. Little jobs ??
Maybe keep the paid work and give up the volunteer work – you could volunteer to do more around the house instead then?
Don’t quit ur job…ur mom should be glad ur going out to work and volunteering x
Why don’t you do a list of all the jobs that need to be done around the house and share them between you
You work part time? Even if you worked full time.. your mum isn’t the house maid, help more.
You only work part time lol
