Hey could I have a PP please?
I’ve just found out that I’m pregnant. My boyfriend and I are both serving in the military, I’m based around Lincoln and he’s on the south coast about 5 hours away. I can’t get posted closer to him until after my maternity leave so we’ll be away from each other during the week. I understand this is what we signed up for by being in the military but this pregnant wasn’t planned. I feel very strongly against abortion however we’re both questioning how it could work. We’re in the process of buying a house but that would be in the midlands near both our families so that doesn’t really help the situation! I’ve wanted a baby for so long but I honestly have no idea what to do! I just want what’s best for the baby but he and I seem to have different ideas of what to do at the moment

Maybe it will be best to talk to one of your parents about it. They can suggest ways around it. Obviously as you can’t get based nearer to him afterwards that’s a issue. It would be a shame for you both to not have the opportunity to spend that special time as a family together during the week days also. Is it possible for him to change his base? As you’ve wanted this baby for so long, and are against abortion, as am i, so can see where you’re coming from. Could a change of career something you’re prepared to do? Off course there’s the obvious issues, like if you’ve signed up for a extended amount of time to think about. But that’s the only way, I think that your be able to be closer to him when bubs comes. I think that you both need to talk in person. Discuss every corner that needs to be covered, and see where you’re both coming from.
