Hi can I get pp please? My daughter is 2 in a couple of weeks, and for the last 2 month or so she’s started crying and screaming when she gets put to bed. We have the same routine with her every night and have done since she was born. She has her porridge, gets her teeth brushed, is lay in her cot, tucked in, night lights on, kiss and I say night night mammy and daddy love you. We shut the door and she goes to sleep. We’ve never had any problems with her routine and she sleeps all night till at least 9am. The last two months we brush her teeth, lay her in her cot and she starts crying and screaming. A few times we’ve let her “cry it out” after ten minutes or so she goes to sleep. Sometimes this can go on longer and me or my husband go and sit with her or sing to her till she’s asleep. I don’t feel this is the right way to do it when she’s been in such a good routine up until now and don’t want to break her out of this. Any suggestions please? No bashing please. ❤️

Hi, we have just had this exact same issue with our daughter who is 2. All I can say is that its just a phase, we are now back to normal, we just kept to the same routine and carried on as normal, we left her to it really, they is a sleep regression and also growing pains could be a factor. But my advice is to just carry on as normal. She will soon get back in to her pattern x
