hi can I have a post please
a man walked into his ex girl friends house and took their daughter and is refusing to give her back. the police won’t do antthing because he’s on the birth certificate. it’s made me worry about my children . how would I be able to stop their dad from taking them? I keep my doors locked and I will ring the police if he comes but what else can I do to keep my children safe

This happened to me. I have a non molestation order on my daughters dad, he took her one day and refused to give her back. I rang the police and they said because it’s a court matter & he’s on the birth certificate they can’t do anything about it, it was also weekend so my solicitors office wasn’t open. It took a lot of bribing by myself and my mum to get my daughter back and I’m petrified in case he does it again. He done it out of spite & for no particular reason.
See a solcitor is best thing to do. They will advise you in right direction on this. There is a thing called residential order which needs go through court order but i think he has to take the children first before you can apply for this unfortunately.
Get a residential order on her so he will have to return her a solicitor can sort it for you x
Get a court order against him taking the children 🙂
