hi can I have a post please…

I am 16 weeks pregnant. I am a carer in a dementia unit in a care home. As many people know people suffering with dementia can turn very aggressive and violent. My problem is with my work. they have done a risk assessment but in my opinion it has been done very poorly as they are still making me do heavy manual handling e.g. rolling heavy residents in bed, assisting heavy residents out of chairs etc. I have raised this issue with my line manager a few times and her reply was that until they have it in writing from a midwife or doctor they can make me do any task they want. also 2 weeks ago while doing personal care with a resident they hit me in the stomach. luckily baby was fine after a check up at hospital. I was then off for 2 weeks on annual leave and not one member of management phoned to see if I was okay. what I am asking is what can I do to try keep me and my baby safe at work when I am not getting any support from my employer
