Hi can i have a post please that relates to my previous ones a little bit…
So, my husband left me last monday for another woman who he has only known for a few weeks. They have spent since monday in each others pockets and have “fallen” for each other. He moved in to his new flat on friday and she has pretty much been there all the time. It’s annoying me a bit as i feel he has got more feelings for her been around at the minute than our daughter. When i spoke to him, he was obviously sorry and so on and “no thats not the case” but he’s done it again today… anyways, i want to set a time frame… if this woman had already been a friend and my LO new her before i wouldn’t feel so bad of her at least been around if boundaries weren’t crossed, but a total stranger is something different. How and when would you be happy for your child to meet them? Would you explain from the start that this is his girlfriend or just a friend? And would you he happy if when your child did finally meet them for them, for them to all go back to his place together all the time and so on, or would you rather they went on days out for a while before introducing another woman in to what would be your childs second home?

I wouldn’t let her meet ur child, for all u know she could just be a short time gf definitely if he only met her a few weeks ago and now they are basically living together, to me my ex would have to be with someone for a good amount of time before I would let him introduce my child to her, tell him he can see his child but as long as she isn’t there as ur not ready for her to meet ur kid. Definitely not so soon as a few weeks she is a complete stranger and he doesn’t even know her that well yet xx
