Hi can I have a post please.. this isn’t an anonymous post and I’ll reply to whoever comments šŸ˜Š. My son is 5 months old and the past week/2 weeks has not been himself, his temp is fine, keeping him topped up with bonjella / teething granules etc so I don’t think it’s his teeth. He’s been sleeping a lot more than usual, but when he’s awake he’s alert playing not drowsy or anything like that. Having said that he’s really unsettled in the night, Will sleep from 7pm until 2am then will cry and cry, doesn’t want milk, and feels really hot and clammy (but temp on thermometer is ok).
Today he’s been really scratching the back on his head (He has a rash-like birth mark there which he’s had since birth) but he has been really crying while he’s scratching it, he’s never even touched the back of his head let alone purposely started scratching it so I don’t know what’s happening with him and it’s starting to worry me. He’s also had a nap woke up an hour later and within half an hour wanted to go back to sleep again.

I don’t know if it’s related but his brother (2 years old) has been sleeping more in the day too, past 3 days he’s purposely been naughty to be sent to his room and then has put himself in bed and gone to sleep for 3/4hours (not like him at all he’s a live wire usually) but he seems completely well in himself so I’m not too concerned, I just don’t know if they’re problems are connected.

Just wandering if anyone had any idea what could be wrong with him as its starting to worry me and I can’t get into docs as the appointments are gone by the time I get through.
Incase it helps, he had a BCG (Tuberculosis) injection Wednesday last week but they said other than a sore arm there aren’t any side effects that should affect him, and he is currently on clenil inhaler (had it about a month) and sodium chloride nasal drops (about 2 weeks). I will try to post a photo of the back of his head when he wakes up xx
