Hi can I have a pp please when you get a minute

So yesterday I got a phone call for my children nursery asking me to go and get my little One who is 2 and a half years old.. she’d had a massive allergic reaction to something and she had come out in massive red blotches and a rash (this has happened on 2 occasions in the evening but by Morning it’s pretty much gone) she always seems happy enough in herself it is very itch and she does constantly scratch when this has happened but other then that she is totally fine! Anyway this time I took her straight to the gp as for the first time they was still open.. she was seen by the nurse who diagnosed it as Pmle – polymorphous light eruption (allergic to the sun)
I was told to just keep her out the sun when it’s at it’s hottest.. and to give her Antihistamines if she’s does react to help with the itch..
I just wondering if any other mummies have had a child with this and what have hey found helped and how did they manage it… I don’t want to keep her lock up inside just incase she has a reaction 😔 when she get it it always looks so angry and irritated I just feel so sorry for her please any advice would be much appreciated thanks x
