Hi can I have a PPP, my little girl (18months) has woke up irritated and crying patting her nappy, so I’ve took her nappy off and she’s kicking her legs and is restless and crying and patting her private parts.. any idea what if could be? It doesn’t look sore or anything xx

My little girl was like this and it was a urine infection. I called 111 as she was hysterical they diagnosed it over the phone and did a immediate antibiotic prescription xx
Irritation in the nappy area is an indications of worms especially at night children can seem quite distressed from the intense itching x
Could be worms making her itchy? My advice would be to get the whole family wormed and follow strict hygiene rules for washing hands, clean sheets, baths in the morning, and clean bathroom. High chance if that’s what it is its been caught off a random dirty toy someone else with worms has played with. It’s a vicious cycle.
Check her bits could be thrush or worms or a water infection x
Maybe worms or a kidney infection
Uti x
Could it be cystitis?
Could be a urine infection. X
