Hi can I have a PPP
My little girl is 12 weeks and won’t stop screaming, I’m constantly in tears as I don’t know what to do, I’ve tried everything I can think of to settle her and she just had none of it but the second her dad picks her up and bossies her she stops, I don’t know what to do as he’s possiblity starting a job soon any advice on what I could do as i can’t stand to see her like this all the time. She dose it all the time if she wakes up and realises her dad’s not home(he’s quite noisy so house is very quiet when he’s not home) it’s Getting hard to bear as she screams untill she can’t breathe

  • If your stressed baby’s gonna feel it off you maybe that’s why she settles for her dad because she’s not getting that feeling off him. Try wearing one of his t-shirt for her to smell him and keep the telly on for noise. There’s a baby soothing app too has like a hairdryer and washing machine sounds and that worked for both of mine. Try relax hun it won’t be like this forever know it’s hard but it does get better best of luck xx

  • Have u seen a different doctor she may have colic. And do u have family that can help when he starts working? If she starts screaming and u feel like ur about to loose it. Just lay her in her crib and walk out side and calm down. It won’t hurt her to cry and she needs her mama that be okay.

  • Sounds exactly like my son and if she’s on gaviscon then I presume they are thinking she has reflux which is a symptom of a dairy allergy which sounds like it could be possible as she is screaming all the time in pain please check the link for symptoms it doesn’t need to be all of them for it to be an allergy it can be just one or two of them .
Are you breast feeding or formula ?
If breast feeding then cut out all dairy from your diet and if she is on formula go to your gp first thing tomorrow and demand a dairy free formula and if they refuse then go straight to a&e they have to take you seriously as your lo is very obviously in pain which can not be cured by a washing machine.
