Hi can I have a ppp x hi I need help. My 11 month old has been a nightmare to get to sleep at night lately. He screams and screams at bedtime in his cot, I have tried the cry it out method but I end up giving in cos he gets so distressed where he’s struggling for breath so I end up putting him in my bed where he settles a bit more. I don’t know if he’s over tired or what, he has a nap at 10am to 12pm but won’t go for another nap after that and his bed time is 7pm. It’s just getting me so upset cos he gets so distressed at bed time I don’t know what else to do. Even tried putting something in his cot that smells of me but it’s not working. Do I keep on with the cry it out method in the hope it works or is this cruel. If I rock him to sleep it takes so long and seems like I’m trying to get him to sleep all night. Thanks for any advice xxx
