Hi can I have a private message please.

Hi any teacher or LSA mums on here who can help a question when it comes to mat leave and holiday pay?

I work in a school as an LSA and am handing my notice in to finish the 1st of September ( due to going into to do my teacher training).

So we are paid pro rata. I wasn’t entitled to statutory mat pay ( missed out by two weeks) so I got maternity allowance instead . I don’t know whether I will get my august pay even though the end of my notice period will be September. ( I’m trying to get in contact with my works payroll but it seems like I’m being ignored ) as when I started at the school I started in November 2015 they have said I might not be able to have the pay. Next question because when on mat leave you are still treated as employed will I be owed any holiday money ? As the school didn’t pay me for the whole 9 months I was off.

Sorry if this sounds awfully strung together – it’s pretty hard to understand and I’m not getting straight answers and just want to know will I have a wage coming in august or not so we can budget.
