Hi can i have a private post please
I’m in a council flat and I’m needing some re-plastering done. I have checked my tenancy agreement but it doesn’t say who would be responsible to do this. Will the council do it or am i responsible for it??

It’s a council house they have to sort it I have the same prob with mine someone was out today inspecting the damage and they are sending someone out next week to make a start on it – this is a 2nd time they have had to do it hope u get sorted xx
Depends tbh when I moved into my old house I was stripping the walls and the wall was falling off so they has
To do the whole entire hall and stairs you have to ask the council to come out and have a look my housing manger got it done for me but he was good like that x
You need to get the council to come out and assess it. They will then decide if they’ll do it or not.
My brother lives in a council property that needed damp proofing/plastering. It was done via the council.
With council or housing association you, usually have a number to report repairs to. Plastering would be their job
It’s the council I had this in my house and they came out and done it xx
You need to do it they won’t do mine xx
