Hi can I have a private post please.
I’m pregnant with my second child and don’t know what to do.
I told the father as soon as I found out that I was pregnant and although he wasn’t happy he said he would be involved as he doesn’t want to leave a child without a father. He already has a 5 year old from a previous relationship. I got a message a few days later from his ex letting me know that he won’t be involved and he will lose everything if he has anything to do with my child. I can only assume that he was threatened with not seeing his other child and blocked all contact with me. I did manage to get through to his phone but the ex answered and refused to let me speak to him even after telling her I just wanted to hear that he didn’t want to be involved through him as quite frankly this child is none of her business. There’s been absolutely no contact until yesterday when he asked me how far along I am and when I answered he’s told me the child can’t be his as the dates don’t add up. He’s counting the day the baby was conceived as day 1 instead of the first day of the last period and again blocked all contact. It’s physically impossible for the baby to be anybody else’s. I’m already suffering from severe hypermesis gravadium and had a few scares already due to stress. My family are dead set against him being involved after everything’s he’s said and done but I feel extremely torn that my child will one day think I didn’t do enough for it to have a father in their life but at the same time I can’t stand the idea of his ex thinking she has some right when it comes to my child. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I don’t have anyone that can give me an unbiased opinion. Please no bashing, I’m very much aware that I’ve put myself in a stupid situation but I was raised to deal with the mistakes I’ve made and any consequences that come along.
