Hi. Can I have a private post please?
I’ve been told I’ve I have group B strep, and will need to be on a drip during labour at least 4 hours before I give birth. I’m so worried as I labour quite quickly, my last Labour was 2 hours. Since my last child our local hospital has closed their maternity services meaning I will now have to travel 30mins (when there’s no traffic) to the nearest hospital. I’m worried I won’t get put on the drip in time. Has anybody ever been induced because of GBS? Or not had the antibiotics in time? What was your outcome? Thanks in advance. X
