Hi, can i have a private post please?
My little one is 6 months now and whilst sleeping in his cot during the night and nap time during the day, he tends to turn a lot so he is constantly moving around on the mattress. Earlier on today, i heard him wake from his nap so i walked into his room only to see what he was lying sideways with his feet/ankles through the bars. Being a first time mum i panicked. I was told by my health visitor that i can no longer use the bumpers on the cots and just wondered has anyone else had the same experience and if so what helped? As mentioned, i am a first time mum so any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you xx

  • my daughter does it all the time when sleeping shes never hurt her self and always manages to get them out okay dont get me wrong if I see it I do take them out but my health visitor told me it is better for them to have a broken arm ir leg than strangle themselves on string from a bumper set x

  • You can use the bumpers that are better and have no strings i don’t know if they be better for you to use? What about a sleep bag that way won’t be able to get legs through bars x

  • I have these. They are Velcro breathable mesh/cushioned bumpers so stop any bumps or arm and legs falling out but still breathable if baby puts face up to them xx
