Hi can I have a private post please

Question about paternity pay.. We are going in to have our baby in 4 weeks, partner is having 2 weeks off, handed in forms etc to his manager. Will the paternity pay go on his monthly wage slip and be paid with his wages? Or will it go in his bank from the government as a one off payment, if so when do they usually get it?
Just trying to work out if we’re still able to pay everything out as normal that month, with him only receiving 2 weeks pay from work.. thanks x
