My lb has something like this, he’s 2! I can’t get a picture 1) it hurts to move his top lip like you have 2) he won’t stay still 😂 but after going doctors, speaking to his ped and the dentist they won’t cut it until he is around the age of 13 unless it causes speech issues or keeps bleeding. Best advice I can give you is to speak to your HV or doctor
Lip tie is nothing to worry about unless is a sever problem but as babies nothing should be done as no one knows the outcome until the little one is older or a dental professional has stated otherwise my we one how’s going on 2.5 has one and it’s grown out as she’s growing x
Yes this looks like a lip tie, my almost 10 month old also has this and it causes him no problems. He’ll have a small gap when his teeth grow but that’s it. I wouldn’t worry about it unless your baby is having trouble feeding
Both my girls have this, it’s fine unless it causes issues with speech.
It’s a tongue tie, which my youngest daughter had very severely, which is snipped x
My son is 18 months and has 1 they only do something if it effects feeding or speech.
