Hi can u ppp, my son is nearly 5 and in reception, he has speech problems but is coming on allot with the help of speech therapy. Anyway he won’t speak to any of his friends at school, (he can have a full convo just misses some of the letters off his words) this has been going on since nursery.. He seems very shy although he’s completely different at home. He plays with them but doesn’t interact with any of them, we saw his friend from school when we was out trick or treating and his friend came running over saying hi what are u dressed up as, have u got lots of sweets and my son completely ignored him. This is worrying me as i feel if he carries on he is gonna get singled out the older he gets ☹️ I’m not sure if it’s a confidence thing but like I said he has been like this since starting nursery and I thought he might of grown out of it xx any advice thankyou xx
