Hi can you post anonymous please, so I’ve had a really busy day and ive been out of the house . I got back home and my partner invited his dad round which isn’t a problem. As soon as I stepped in my living room his dad said to me “you look a bit dark today? You look like a paki”. My partner knows how much I hate that word and I hate racist people (I’m mixed asian, my dad is Sikh and my mum’s british) anyways I replied “what you on about?” And he said “oh it could be your top making you look abit dark that’s all”. My partner told him that I really hate that word and it makes me angry. And it does I was so annoyed at him for saying it whilst he was here. He eventually said to me “your a bit mardy today?” And I replied “yeah so leave” and he left. Personally I don’t think I’m in the wrong but my partner said I could of said it in a nice way. My reason was he didn’t apologise and he has known me for 8 years. I am 6 weeks pregnant so maybe I’m easily irritated. I dunno what do you guys think? X
