Hi can you ppp.. it’s been playing on my mind since my son broke up from school on Friday.. Ok so he’s 4 and in reception, when I picked him up the teaching assistant said to me can I have a word, baring in mind she was stood at the door talking to me and other children’s parents was right behind me.. (she tells the children when there parents are here) so all the other parents was just stood there whilst she was talking to me.. Anyway she said in abrupt way. Does Jack mess with toilet roll at home and unravel it all.. I said no why (which he never has) she said well the toilets was covered in toilet roll today and all the children have said it was Jack, every single child has told me it was him….but it happend last week and we couldn’t pin point which child it was, and I’m not talking just a bit of toilet paper the whole floor was covered in it..!! So I said it’s unlike him to do that, so I asked him if he did it infront of the teacher and he shook his head. Then she said well the whole of the class has told me it was Jack this isn’t appropriate behaviour ..
I’m stood there all the parents are literally behind me and she’s saying all this to me, didn’t know where to put my face.. Would u be annoyed? It’s just really got to me, my son has said it wasn’t him.. I’ve told him if it was him he doesn’t do things like that..
If there is any issues at school are they not meant to talk to you in private? Also her manor was really abrupt.. x
