Hi could I get a post please? I’m due on Friday but my midwife phoned me today to say my iron levels are still really low so I need to speak to a consultant at a hospital tomorrow does anyone know what will happen as she didnt really say

I had a. Iron Transfusion’s due to my levels dropping even on the tablets at 37 weeks I was then induced at 38+4 as my levels began dropping again plus my b12 levels were almost non existent among a few other things
Possible blood transfusion as the risk of givjng birth and loosing to much blood is high. I had this with my first and my 2nd my iron levels were just as low and i had blood in standby x
My iron levels were really low and tablets wasnt workin my consultant ended up sending me to delivery suite twice in a week for 2 iron infusions via IV. They wanted my levels up as much as possible before i had my section.
Ask for an iron infusion. It’s too late for tablets to make a huge difference now x
Either tablets or maybe an iron transfusion could be possible x
May be put on tablets
