Hi could i get a pp Please,

Just want some advice, does a dad who doesn’t see his kids need to pay child maintenance? I ask as my ex doesn’t see his kids of his own doing and also the kids refusing but has now stopped paying CM so not sure wether to bother going through the new child maintenance route or leaving it if he doesn’t need to pay as he doesn’t see them!
