Hi could I have a pm please I’m concerned about my sons weight he is 6 years old and weighs 3 stone exactly but he seems to have lost weight over the past few mths and looks really skinny was just wondering if he’s under weight
And what other 6 year olds weigh?

Could you reply on the post for me please he doesn’t eat a lot at all and he can be like this for weeks then all of a sudden he will eat like he’s been starved for a day and back to not eating again. I try to tempt him to everything but he just doesn’t like eating he has some disabilities and health issues including hydrocephalus ( fluid on the brain) so his head is over sized and I’m sure his head is holding most of the weight I mentioned it to Paediatrics and they said he will eat if he’s hungry but I’m still concerned. I will go back to the gp but just wanted to check that I’m not over reacting he’s always been short and abit of a chunk so to me it’s concerning x
im 28 iv had two kids and never been over 8 stone my 5 year old is 20lb and my 10 year old is 4 stone no one has ever been concerned and my youngest always been under peads my eldest under dietician for her poor calcium intake they are happy with their weight x x
My daughter is 2 and weighs 2st4 which I think may be classed as a little over weight but she’s healthy. If he’s healthy try not to worry to much. He will put some weight on when he has a growth spurt x
my niece weighed just over 3 stone at 10 she was really thin turned out she had cyst in her bones and they was very fragile she jumped on the trampoline and it snapped her thema now she’s started putting weight on x
My 2 year old son weighs 2st 5lbs…my 5 year old daughter weighs 2st 12lbs but they are both perfectly healthy! I have a really diddy girl and a butch little boy 😂😂
My son is 4 he weighs 3 stone but every child is different, my little girl is 19months and shr weighs almost 2 stone pure pudding, dont stress as long as he is eating 😀
My son is 12 and only just over 5 stone , he does not eat good at all so iv been told no matter what it is he asks for give him it , sometimes could b a tin oh hotdogs n a tin oh sweetcorn , next could b just a plate oh veg ….X
It depends on height etc. I wouldn’t worry too much as long as he is eating and healthy he will be absolutely fine x

My 14 year is the same he only weighs 5 stone had him at the doctors cause he looks under weight doctors done tests he OK .x
