Hi could I have a post please, I’m starting to really struggle and just after advice I feel like dead cause so tired.
I have a 2 year old (no dad) she’s hit terrible twos so she has the tantrums and sulky and what not. I had a little boy a month ago (me and his dad split 2 months ago we live together as he is homeless but he’s house hunting) his dad doesn’t do anything, no feeds, no nappy changing, no bathing, no clothes changing, no doing bottles, no interacting, no cleaning, no anything really, I’m trying to do it on my own but my newborn will wake at 3am and be awake until morning then my daughter gets up at 7am. He cries alot and my ex won’t help on anything even if he sees me struggling, (I can’t kick him onto the street it’s unfair) HV said to let him cry himself to sleep but it’s mean (he’s on medication cause he has acid in his belly which was causing him pain) .. so I’m awake all night then all day with my daughter then all night again. My son is so clingy so the sec I put him down he screams I can’t shower, hover, clean, get dressed or anything without him screaming. The father sits there on fb or Snapchat and won’t help out, I’ve told him to step up or step down but he doesn’t give a toss (before I get judged, he was great with my daughter and I thought he be a great dad that’s why we had a baby but he’s become so lazy and ditches us to go drinking, bike rides, stag dos, for 7-10 hours)

I won’t give up on my babies -if course, but my son won’t settle so it’s hard, he won’t sleep in Moses basket, cot, I’ve tried putting my top in, swaddling, lifting one end up so he’s not flat, hot water bottle, lullaby music, co sleep, rocking, bouncer, but he wants to be on my chest, but when he falls asleep I leave him on my chest for a bit then move him into Moses basket or cot and he cry (it’s like he can sense me) .. I can barely play with my daughter cause I’m having to hold my newborn 24/7. He hasn’t bonded with his dad so he will cry when he holds him. I don’t really know what to do, I have literally barely slept in a month and eat cause the min I out him down he cry so my dinner goes cold and bin. Xxx
