Hi, could I have a ppp?

Was just wondering if I’m in the right here?
I’ve asked my son’s dad to keep our son and his gf separate, it wasn’t going to be forever just until they were fully stable as in the past they have had really bad arguments which have turned violent on her part, she’s made him have to seek mental help as she can say and do really nasty things to him, she’s also known for lying and causing drama and has somehow managed to convince my son’s dad that he’s not actually his dad!
Am I asking too much? As he’s flown off the handle sticking up for her and saying I’m punishing our son.
