Hi could i have a private post for my friend please??
Hey, Ive just been for a routine smear and the doctor noticed some warts near my bum!! Ive never had oral sex and before me and my partner got together 2years ago we both had sti checks which were clear. He works abroad on n off does this mean hes cheated?? Also i have to go to the sexual health clinic which is a two wait week!! Im freaking out. Has anyone had genital warts and if so how long did it take to clear up and wat treatment was used? Is this for life ?? Im so upset. Thank you xx

No. It doesn’t mean he has cheated. If the infection wasn’t active ie there were no warts at the time of testing it wouldn’t have been picked up by the doctor. Genital warts stays dormant in the body and this means that it can come back at any point unfortunately. x
They’re not necessarily sexually transmitted and easy to get rid of by creams or freezing. Very common x
I don’t think you get warts on your bumhole from oral sex 😳
