Hi could I have a private post please.
Could anybody advise me on family law regarding a child arrangements order? I’ve revived court papers from my ex partner seeking contact with our son which I agree to but I also have some concerns as he was a heavy drinker when we were together and he had also been violent towards myself a handful of times whilst drunk, my health visitor has also said There is also an issue of safeguarding? Although I know he would never harm our son I’d like to know how I would notify the judge of the concerns I have do I write a letter to them before the court date or do I just bring up my concerns during our time in court? Myself and my ex partner are now on good terms with each other and want to do what’s best for our son but I can not ignore the concerns that I have? Neither of us plan to use a solicitor. Also could request a order to be put into place so that my ex partner can not refuse to hand our son over after contact and would also need my permission to remove him from the uk (if so what’s the name of these orders please?) he has previously threatened to remove our son from the country during past arguments but I feel this was a heat of the moment kind of thing? Sorry for the long post! Thanks.
