Hi, could I have a private post please.

I have 2 children and my husbands family are absolutely hopeless with them. They never ask to see them, never make an effort or message to see how they are. They don’t even know what school my eldest starts in September. They have another grandchild from my partners sister and they have slept over and see them several times a week. They go to all the big events for the other grandchild.
I have always been annoyed about it as I think children should be treated equally but at the moment I am extra annoyed as my Eldest is asking questions since we turned up to an event we were not invited to (unknowingly). My eldest has been really upset and asking if his nanny and grandad don’t like him. I have told my eldest that they do. It is very upsetting. I get the feeling they don’t like me but if that’s the case they shouldn’t take it out on their grandchildren. We could literally leave the country and they wouldn’t know for months. My hubby doesn’t say anything about it he just says it is their loss. It is but now my eldest is asking questions I don’t know what I can do? I just want a civil life.
