Hi could I have a private post please ๐Ÿ˜‡

I need some advice ladies as I don’t know if I’m being mean and over protective or if I’m just being a good mum.

I get on really well with my partners mother but just recently she had been really getting on my last nerves. She had a ‘boyfriend’ who she has been with on and off for about 4/5 years now. But I kid you not they split up and get back together every few weeks. They are like a couple of 12 year olds. This guy is a complete and utter waste of air, he has no job and wants to sponge of everybody around him. He has managed to convince esa that he has ptsd and now gets hundreds of pounds worth of benefits every couple of weeks and all he does is sit on his back side smoking waky baccy all day. Before my mother in law met him she had a job and was a decent human being but now she gave up work and has convinced herself she has depression and anxiety when the problem is him but she doesn’t see it.

Anyway, I have a 4 month old daughter and for the first couple of months of her life my MIL wasn’t with nob head but now she has got back with him. I have told her that it’s up to her what she does but I don’t want my little girl around him as I don’t like him and I don’t want her growing up thinking that that sort of relationship is normal. She tells me about how she will never let anything bad happen to my little girl and tells me about how much she means to her etc etc. So I agreed to carry on letting her have her for a few hours during the day every now and then. But the past couple of times she has dropped her back of to me nob head has been in the car and she will message me making making up making up stupid excuses as to why he’s there and says that he hasn’t been with her which is a blatant lie. This has happened the past couple of times and I really want to tell her that it’s not on and she knows I don’t want him round her but I want to be able to say something that won’t upset her or cause an argument but I don’t know how ๐Ÿ˜ž it’s winding me up so much that I really don’t want to give her to her anymore but I can’t stop her seeing her. Really don’t know what to do, I’ve tried asking my other half of he will talk to her but he tells me I’m over reacting and if I don’t like it to talk to her myself but I don’t want to make it awkward.

Oh and this guy has also been violent to her, he’s chucked hot tea in her face and had her pinned down on the floor in an argument but ‘she won’t let that happen when my little girl is there’

Any advice on what I can say to her?
